: University of Toronto gave an ethics review exemption to this secondary, deidentified, cross-sectional survey data received from BBS, a public data custodian. BBS collected the primary data by conducting the Bangladesh Violence Against Women Survey 2015. They received informed consent before conducting interviews and carried out the survey according to the World Health Organization’s ethics guideline on researching violence against women.
