Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Stool samples from which suspected isolates originated for use in this study were collected as part of laboratory-based surveillance of infectious diarrheal disease in Shenzhen in accordance to the public health mandate, therefore ethical clearance was not required. All suspected isolates derived from stool samples were de-identified and anonymous to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
