: <b>Ethics approval and consent to participate</b>The Mbarara University of Science and Technology Research Ethics Committee (MUST-2021–311) and the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (HS2087ES) reviewed and approved the protocol and informed consent documents. The study team also obtained administrative clearance from the Uganda Cancer Institute (SR.06/22) to conduct the study at the institute and received written informed consent from each participant before participation in the study. This study was conducted following the Helsinki Declaration as revised in 2013, and each participant was given an explanation of the study’s purpose and the benefits and risks associated with participation. For confidentiality, all laboratory specimens, evaluation forms, and reports were identified by coded numbers and secured under lock and key.
