: The survey was performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. As this was an analysis of secondary data, specific IRB approval was not required. However, the NASH 2019 DSP was submitted to the Western IRB (protocol number AG8065) in the United States and an IRB exemption was granted.Data collection was undertaken in line with European Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Association [CitationRef removed] guidelines and as such it does not require ethics committee approval.
