Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Since the nurses at work online suvey pertains to health professionals with no inclusion of other ‘human subjects’ [Switzerland’s Law on Research on Human Beings (L 810.30, art. 118)], this sub-study required no approval by the Swiss Ethics Commission. However, the Nurses at Work study requested and obtained a favourable presidential opinion from the Swiss Ethics Committee on research involving humans (Protocol 119/14 of April 16, 2014).
