Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The data collectors signed statements of confidentiality and privacy prior to the commencement of the study. The respondents gave verbal informed consent at the beginning of the telephone interview.Ethics approval was received (Number-H14/09-203; National Survey 2015) from the University Human Research Ethics Committee prior to data collection. Participants were notified of the voluntary nature of participation and given the opportunity to withdraw or refuse to answer any of the questions.The researchers were guided by The National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research . Ethical principles of research merit and integrity, justice, beneficence and respect have been upheld by the researchers.
