: This study was approved by the School for Policy Studies Ethics and Research Committee at the University of Bristol (REF: SPSREC17-18.C22) on 30/05/2018. We employed a dual parent and pupil written consent process. Girls eligible to participate provided parental opt-out consent and child written consent. Peer supporters provided consent to the role and focus groups. Parents provided consent to allow their daughter to attend the peer-supporter training. Adult participants (e.g., peer-supporter trainers & school contacts) provided written informed consent.
