: All husbandry and experimental procedures complied with the ASAB Guidelines for the Treatment of Animals in Behavioural Research and were approved by the Wildlife Conservation Office at Jilin Forestry Department, China (approval number: NENU-W-2017-101). Bat capture and playback experiments conformed to the guidelines of the National Animal Research Authority in Northeast Normal University. We removed the aluminum ally bands from the marked bats at the end of the experiment. All captured bats were released into their roost.
