: All protocols and procedures involving animals were approved and conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the Division of Applied Life Sciences at Gyeongsang National University, Republic of Korea. In this study none of the living patients participated, however the human postmortem paraffin-embedded human brain tissue from healthy aged brains and AD brains were obtained from the department of pathology, school of medicine Case Western Reserve University, USA. The collection and use of postmortem brain tissue was approved by the ethical committee guidelines (Approved ID: 125) issued by the Division of Applied Life Sciences at Gyeongsang National University, Republic of Korea.
