: The study was conducted in accordance with the Council for International Organisations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) International Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research Involving Human Subjects and International Ethical Guidelines for Epidemiological Studies. The study protocol was approved by the MSF Ethics Review Board (Study ID: 1639) and the local Health Authorities. Verbal informed consent was obtained from all heads of household participating to the survey. Participants identified in need of urgent care or assistance were appropriately referred. Survey teams were trained on psychological first aid. Confidentiality and anonymity for participants were strictly respected for the duration of the study and in arising reports.
