Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This retrospective study was performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and the collection and use of samples were performed according to the guidelines and with the approval of the local and national institutional review board and ethics committees (Comité Consultatif de Protection des Personnes dans la Recherche Biomédicale, CCPRB, CHU de Nantes, France). Banked biological samples (periperhal blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and DNA) were issued from the STREPTOGENE biocollection approved by the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés (CNIL), for the storage and use of the samples. Informed consent to participate in the STREPTOGENE study was obtained from participants (or their parent or legal guardian in the case of children under 16 years) and a statement to this effect appears in the “InternalRef removed” section of the manuscript.
