: Animal studies were reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals (CEUA) of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of Sao Paulo, under protocol number 169/2011. The care and treatment of the animals was based on the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals [CitationRef removed].
