Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval has been given from the regional ethics board in Gotenburg (28th June 2018, diary number 478–18). Ethics authorities in Sweden always and only give ethics approvals in the Swedish language. Additional approval has been given by the Head of the Obstetric Unit at SUH to renovate the birthing room and conduct the study. After receiving written and verbal information about the study all participants give written consent before being included in the study. All participants have the right to withdraw from the study at any time. Since a woman will get care according to the same guidelines regardless of what type of room they are in, it is unlikely that any woman will be harmed, but medical safety will always take precedence over study conduct. All participants have given consent to publish the study results.
