: This protocol has been developed in accordance to with the Standard Protocol Items: Recommendations for Interventional Trials (SPIRIT) Checklist (Additional file ). The Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) 2010 Statement will be used in the reporting of the final manuscript for the study. This study was approved by the Medical University of SC IRB, the Charleston VA Research and Development Office; and the Department of Defense Human Research Protection Office. All participants receive verbal information about the study and a written and signed informed consent document is obtained. This informed consent document covers the methods described in the protocol. No biological specimens will be collected.
