Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Central ethical approval has been confirmed from the Ethics Committee of the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin (reference number: 2018–16) covering local ethics approval for the centers in Berlin and Flensburg and the study will not begin recruiting at other centers in the trial until local ethical approval has been obtained. Written informed consent will be obtained from all participants and their legal guardians in order to participate in the study. At any time, participants may withdraw their consent for any reason without any negative consequences regarding their treatment. In case of revocation, no further data of the patient will be collected. The data already collected may be used for data evaluation. Only the participating study centers will have access to the anonymized data and participants will be asked for permission for the research team to share anonymized data with people from centers taking part in the research upon reasonable request. There is no anticipated harm and compensation for trial participation and there will be no provision for post-trial care. This trial does not involve collecting biological specimens for storage.
