Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study has been approved by the local ethics committee in Stockholm, Sweden (D.nr. 2016/415-31). All participants will sign an informed consent to participate in the study, and they will be informed that they can end their participation without giving a reason for the decision. The project group will gain the participating units informed consent, and the physiotherapists at the different primary care units will gain the older adults (participants in the balance training) informed consent.On the consent form, participants will be asked if they agree to the use of their data should they choose to withdraw from the trial. Participants will also be asked for permission for the research team to share relevant data with people from the universities taking part in the research or from regulatory authorities, where relevant. This trial does not involve collecting biological specimens for storage.
