: The original trial protocol, patient information and consent form have been approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Ref: 2020-07173) on a meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, 03 Feb 2021. An updated version with addition of Ertapenem in the control-arm was approved in 2022 (Ref: 2022-05351-02). Written informed consent to participate will be obtained from all participants. We will provide a copy of the original ethical approval document and an English translation as an additional file on submission.
