: This study has been approved by the Cameroon National Ethics Committee for Research in Human Health (CNERSH) and an ethical clearance was issued (N°2016/02/716/CE/CNERSH/SP). The objectives and the schedule of the study have been explained to potential participants and only volunteers or their parents (in case of minors) who agreed to participate in this study by signing the informed consent form were enrolled. Participants found infected withS. mansonireceived a curative dose of praziquantel.
