: The protocol of the present study was reviewed and approved by the Animal Ethical and Welfare Committee of Yunnan University. All blood samples were collected from red junglefowl after obtaining permission from the poultry farmers and functional management departments without other authorities, and all procedures were performed in strict accordance with the legal requirements of the Animal Ethics Procedures and Guidelines of the People’s Republic of China.
