: Consent was obtained from insectary technicians who participated in the arm-feeding of mosquitoes. The mosquitoes used in the study were laboratory-reared and therefore free of any parasites. Prior to the blood-feeding process, Malaria Rapid Diagnostic tests were performed on the technicians.
