: Human clinical specimens were prepared from discarded tissue during surgery under consent of donors at Saitama Medical University International Medical Center according to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol 15-209, at Ohta Memorial Hospital according to the IRB protocols 068 and 069 and at The University of Tokyo according to the IRB protocol G3577. Primary ECs were isolated at The University of Tokyo according to the IRB protocol 17-311. Other ECs were prepared from a commercial biobank (Lifeline Cell Technology, Frederick, MD). DNA and RNA samples were prepared at the University of Tokyo according to the IRB protocol 12-81.
