Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Animals were maintained at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) Animal Facility (awarded with the AAALAC accreditation) in accordance with the guidelines stated in the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research Involving Animals, developed by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS). Four- to six-week-old female athymic nude-Foxn1nu (nu/nu) mice were purchased from Envigo (Barcelona, Spain). All animal experiments were approved by the Competent Authority of Comunidad de Madrid (project PROEX 104/16). Patients provided written informed consent before study enrollment. The inform consent form was reviewed and approved by the IRB of Hospital de Madrid in accordance with the guiding principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
