Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Before commencing the data collection, ethics approval letter was taken from Debre Markos University, school of medicine ethical review committee. Meanwhile, consent was obtained from medical directors of the hospitals. Informed consent was taken from the study subjects. The study subjects were told that they have the right to discontinue or refuse at any time of the data collection procedures. The laboratory analysis was performed free of charge, and results were given to health professionals for the betterment of patients’ care. The researchers keep or protect the confidentiality and anonymity of the information provided by the respondents as well as other basic ethical principle.
