Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All of the UCB samples in this study were obtained from healthy newborn donors in Suzhou Municipal Hospital (Suzhou, China) after mothers’ written informed consent. The study was approved by the Hospital’s Ethics Committee and Research Ethics Advisory Committee (Permit Number 2015SZSLK075). All research involving animals was conducted according to relevant national and international guidelines. Experimental protocols for mice were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees of Soochow University and the Experimental Animal Ethics Committee of the Institute (IACUC permit number: SYXK (Su)2012-0045). Experimental protocols for nonhuman primates were approved by the Yunnan Province Experimental Animal Management Association and the Experimental Animal Ethic Committee of the Institute (Permit Number SYXK-YN No. 2010-0009).
