: The protocol for the use of human cells in the present study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the National Center for Child Health and Development of Japan (approval number: 2289) and The Jikei University School of Medicine (approval number: 28-083(8326)) and was in full compliance with the Ethical Guidelines for Clinical Studies (Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare). The animal use protocol was approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of the National Center for Child Health and Development. All animal experiments were based on the 3R principle (refine, reduce, and replace), and all efforts were made to minimize animal suffering and to reduce the number of animals used.
