: Ethics approval for the testing and evaluation phases of the CARESSES study in the UK was granted on 21st January 2019 by the University of Bedfordshire Research Ethics Committee (Ref: UREC 130) and on 11th June 2018 by the Research Ethics Committee of the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Japan (Ref: 30–001).
