: Ethical clearance was obtained from the institutional Review Board of Arba Minch University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences. Permission letter was also obtained from South Ari district health office and was presented to all participants. Written consent and assent were obtained from the study participants and their parents/guardians (for those under 18 years of age) after they were informed about the study objectives and were allowed to read the consent sheet. All participants were also informed that they could withhold or withdraw from participation at any time, without any negative consequences. The questionnaire was filled in a separate class room prepared to the participants. To assure privacy and confidentiality to the participants, the questionnaire was made anonymous, having no any unique identifiers and at completion the participants were told to put them in a separate common box prepared for this purpose.
