: The study received ethical approval from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Jimma University, Institute of Health. The study’s objective had been communicated to the respective hospitals via a letter of permission from the Guraghe Zone Health Department. This study was conducted per the Declaration of Helsinki. Because the study was conducted through a review of medical records and family planning service registrations, informed consent was not required; the individual subjects had not been exposed to any harm as long as anonymity was maintained. Data collectors were recruited from family planning units to maintain confidentiality, and personal identifiers were not included in the data collection format.
