: While answering the epidemiological web-based questionnaire, respondents had access to free telephone support (from 10 am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday), provided by specially trained psychologists. The ESPA 13 November survey was approved by the National Commission for Data Protection and Liberties (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés, CNIL) (authorization demand n°915262v2, deliberation n°2016–209, July 7, 2016) and a Committee for the Protection of Persons (amendment number 7035/3/3283). All those who visited the Santé publique France website, whether or not they finally participated in the survey, had access to information on the possible consequences of exposure to these attacks and on how to seek care. Participants under 18 years of age had to provide signed authorization from their parents or guardian. After concluding the first questionnaire for eligibility but before being directed to the epidemiological questionnaire, the potential participant had to read a section of text which explained all the rights of the survey participants, and had to provide informed consent by ticking the relevant box.
