: The program protocol was reviewed under the CDC’s Center for Global Health Office of the Associate Director for Science (ADS) approved protocol (#2017–277) and the University of Washington Institutional Review Board (IRB) and determined to be non-research. The protocol was also reviewed and approved by the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) Scientific Ethics Review Unit, a local IRB, which waived the need to obtain informed consent from each HCW prior to the HH compliance audits.
