: The source of funding for this study is the University of Geneva Hospitals and Faculty of Medicine (HUG) and an educational grant (Saniswiss SA). The first source of funding comes from HUG. HUG financed the control products as well as the assistance given to the principal investigator (laboratory facilities, research assistants, biostatistician). The test product and part of the principal investigator's (AP) time was funded by the manufacturer of the test formulation (Saniswiss SA). Saniswiss SA was not involved in any part of the study at any time, and agreed to publication of the results regardless of whether the outcome would be favorable for their product or not. Saniswiss SA provided the alcohol-based handrub to test.
