: The study was approved by the Bioethics Committee of the University of Turin (protocol number 0421518, 29/07/2022).
: The institutional framework of the national PPS was a quality improvement program coordinated by public entities, namely the Italian National Health Institute (ISS), the Italian Centre for Disease Control (CCM) and Ministry of Health, therefore the written consent of patients was not requested. However, patients were provided with an information sheet notifying them of their participation in the PPS. Only anonymized data were collected and sent to the national coordinating center.
