: The letter approving the ethical clearance was supplied by the College of Natural & Computational Science ethical approval committee of the University of Gondar (reference number: 02/03/977/10/2014). A letter of approval was obtained to carry out the study in the hospital after the University of Gondar referral hospital's oncology department also received a floppy copy of the research proposal. Every precaution was taken to protect the subjects' privacy and confidentiality during the research procedure. Since there were no outpatients with cervical cancer at the University of Gondar referral hospital when the data were gathered, the informed oral consent was obtained. Both institutions agreed to employ informed oral consent that was obtained over the phone from study participants before beginning this particular investigation. When a study subject passed away, we called the carer at the number listed on their patient card with their informed consent. For individuals who volunteered to participate in the study, outpatients' cards were retrospectively examined from May 15, 2016, to May 15, 2020, to obtain information on their sociodemographics, medical histories, and treatments. The data collectors explained the purpose and goals of the study to the participants. Participants were informed of the study's goal and aim by the data collectors. All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations.
