: This survey was approved by the Ethics Review Committee of the National Institute of Parasitic Diseases, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (No. 20160810). All study subjects, received their test results. Patients who were diagnosed with Echinococcosis were provided free drug treatment or were subsidized part of the cost of surgery. All the participants were told about the content and purpose of the exam, the complications, and the consequences and the benefits.
