: This research was conducted according to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki, and the study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committees of the National Institute for Communicable Disease Control and Prevention (Beijing, China). Informed consent was obtained from the two patients who received a brucellosis diagnosis at the Qinghai Institute for Endemic Disease Prevention and Control based on the Diagnosis for Brucellosis Standards (WS 269–2019) used in China. Obtained patient history and data were anonymized for the purpose of this study. Blood samples were obtained and Brucella strains were isolated.
