Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The protocol complies with the ethical standards of the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments, and followed good clinical practice guidelines. This pilot study took place from November 2015 to June 2016, before the Jarde law (2016–1537, 11/17/2016) came into effect. Because this research was not biomedical, not interventional, and focused on an existing middle-school program, formal ethical approval was not required for this type of study, in agreement with Article 88 of Public Health Law (2004–806, 8/9/2004): for reference, seeExternalRef removed. The research protocol was reviewed and approved by each school principal. Parents and children received clear, accurate and detailed information about the protocol, and gave written consent to participate.
