: Ethics approval for the trial among students was obtained from the Human Research Ethics Committee at the University of Melbourne (approval ID 1341238.4) and Victorian Department of Education (approval ID 2014_002268); Surveys of tMHFA Instructors were approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee at the University of Melbourne (approval ID 2022-22917-26168-5). All procedures performed in this study were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.All participants were given a Plain Language Statement and provided informed consent online. For student participants aged 14–18 years old, informed passive written consent was sought and obtained from their parents or guardians for study participation. Eligible students (with passive parental consent) in Year 10 at secondary schools who had agreed to host the research were directed to an online questionnaire hosted by the SurveyMonkey platform (ExternalRef removed), where they read a description of the research and provided electronic assent to indicate informed consent with full name of the ethics committee that approved the electronic assent to indicate informed consent.
