: Galip Kaya, Ph.D.Dr. Kaya is a software development team leader at HAVELSAN Inc., and has a BA in Computer Engineering and MA and PhD in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. He has been working on developing education related ontologies and working as a software engineer since 2004. His main research areas include development, implementation, and evaluation of ontologies for educational settings. He has taken part in various research projects and published research in national and international journals, conferences, and in edited books.Arif ALTUN, Ed.D.Arif Altun is a professor of computer education and instructional technologies at the College of Education at Hacettepe University, Ankara Turkey. He has completed his doctorate study at the University of Cincinnati. He has been a visiting scholar at the psychology department at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2011 and at the Mind, Brain, and Education program at Harvard University during 2014–2015. In the last 10 years, he has been conducting research exploring the cognitive processes in digital learning environments at OntoLAB, to develop user modeling for ontology driven personalized learning environments.
