: A letter of ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of Bahir Dar University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences on the date of September 06/2021 with protocol umber of 293/20021. Permission letter was obtained from all of the relevant sectors of Mecha District. Mothers/caregivers gave their informed consent orally once the study’s objective was explained to them. The study’s participants volunteered to be a part of the study. Those who did not want to engage in the study or who wanted to cancel their involvement during the interview were assured of their rights to do so. By anonymizing the questionnaire data, the study’s confidentiality was protected at all levels.
