: Ethical approval was obtained from the Asrat Woldeyes Health Science Campus, Debre Berhan University, Institutional Review Board (Approval No.IRR-087). All study procedures performed in the intervention and control groups followed the ethical standards of the 2008 Revised Declaration of Helsinki [CitationRef removed]. All participants in the control group received information about their active participation in physical activity from their physician. By removing all identifiers from the questionnaire, confidentiality issues were maintained and all data collected were kept strictly confidential at all stages of data processing.
