: This study utilized a retrospective analysis of data collected as a part of National Malaria Control and elimination strategy. Additionally, since this study does not include any data directly related to human subjects, the study was exempted for ethical permissions. This was a national study, and taken approval from Epidemiology and Diseases Control Division, Department of Health services, Ministry of Health and Population, government of Nepal.
