Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study concerning translation and cultural adaptation of IPOS in Estonia was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the National Institute for Health Development on 31st of December 2019 (ref: 2019–157). Additional approval from Research Ethics Committee of the National Institute for Health Development obtained (approval no 157) to change the initial study plan and conduct patient interviews via phone.All the palliative care patients provided an oral consent prior to cognitive interview. The IPOS development team in the Cicely Saunders Institute, King’s College, London was approached for the acceptance to translate and culturally adapt the IPOS different versions to Estonian.
