: Samples from sick animals are sent to BIOPHARMA for diagnosis, and biosafety conditions have been respected in accordance with the rules required by the OIE Terrestrial Manual. (Chapter 1.1.4: Biosafety and biosecurity: Standard for managing biological risk in the veterinary laboratory and animal facilities (ExternalRef removed), accessed 23 November 2017). Equine influenza virus was isolated from embryonated eggs and MDCK cells in containment level 3 (P3). The usefulness and design of the research were validated by the veterinary research team in virology of BIOPHARMA, respecting the ethical rules implemented.
