This study required the utilization of removed neoplasms from patients in the last years and stored them for research purpose under the institution’s ethical standards. : We have the ethical committee’s approval to use these preserved tissues. All our research cases were obtained from a bank of paraffin blocks in the oral and maxillofacial pathology department, as these excised tissues are stored and kept in certain conditions approved by the ethical committee in our institute.
