: Human studies were conducted following the guidelines established by the Research Ethics Committee of October 6 University, Egypt, with Registration No. (PMC-Ph-2409001). Ethical approval was obtained from the Ethics Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy Beni-Suef University No. (REC-H-PhBSU-24009) which is following the Helsinki Declaration. The optimized VCZ-loaded spanlastics was developed and manufactured under stringent internal quality control standards. All procedures were adhered to validated standard operating protocols aligned with the core principles of GLP and GMP. Following a comprehensive explanation of the study, all participating patients signed informed consent. Also, the current study was registered from ClinicalTrials.gov, No. (NCT06392529). The experiments involving animals were conducted following the guidelines established by the Research Ethics Committee of October 6 University, Egypt, with Registration No. (PME-Ph-2409001).
