: The study received ethical approval from the CHU de Québec and McGill University research ethics committees according to institution norms and the Tri-Council Policy Statement on research involving First Nation, Inuit and Métis peoples (CIHR et al., CitationRef removed). The steering committee of the NRBHSS also reviewed and approved the methodology and tools. The entirety of the survey process was overseen by the Data Management Committee (DMC) that was composed of Inuit and non-Inuit health professionals in Nunavik.
: All participants in the project were advised of the themes and questions to be explored ahead of time, and interview participants were assured anonymity and the right to withdraw at any time. Oral consent was granted by all participants for audio recording of interviews and workshops.
