: Statement on the welfare of animals. A positive conclusion of the Bioethics Commission was approved on November 29, 2017, at the meeting of the Bioethics Commission of the Institute of Biology and Medicine of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The international recommendations on the conduction of biomedical studies using animals were observed in compliance with the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals Used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes as well as with the 2006 Law of Ukraine no. 3447-IV on the Protection of Animals from Cruelty.
