Change Type: Erratum
Change Details: In the article, “Bipolar hip arthroplasty for avascular necrosis of femoral head in young adults”, which appeared in the pages 329–335, Issue 3, Vol 49 of Indian Journal of Orthopaedics[1], the second and third sentence in the Abstract section are incorrectly written. The second sentence “Acetabular erosion and groin pain are the most allowing for gross motion between the common complications.” should be written as “Acetabular erosion and groin pain are the most common complications.” and the third sentence “We propose that these complications are secondary to improper acetabular preparation allowing for motion between the BHA head and the acetabulum.” should be written as “We propose that these complications are secondary to improper acetabular preparation allowing for gross motion between the BHA head and the acetabulum.”
